Jay Leno’s Elvis 30th Anniversary Harley
False rumors have swirled around about the location of Elvis’ original Harleys, including one that alleges Jay Leno has one of them stashed away at Big Dog Garage. Well, now he does - sorta…
In order to commemorate the King of Rock ‘n Roll, and the opening of a new dealership across the street from Graceland, Harley Dealer Bruce Rossmeyer unveiled the prototype for the Presley 30th Anniversary Bike Signature Collection on April 22, 2007. With a cost to the consumer of about $58,000, only thirty of the bikes were produced. Purchase price included travel to Memphis for the delivery of the bikes on the steps of Graceland on August 15, the day before Elvis’ passing.
Rossmeyer has presented Jay with one of two prototypes, the other to be tucked away in his own museum. The remaining thirty were sold at auction, with the first of the series going for $100,000, $40,000 of which was donated to the American Diabetes Association.

The days of charging exhorbitant prices for motorcycles are over. The chopper market, and it’s $30-$40,000 limited use bikes, is all but dead. People realize that a good reliable Harley for 15-20k makes a whole lot more sense.

Ron, No Bruce is not out of his mind, most of that money went to charity. Dave, yes you are correct and Guzziman yes Elvis is dead and I’m sure when you are dead someone will want your bike too.

guzzi, you are extremely ignorant if you don’t understand the amazing work that ELvis did, not only his musical and Hollywood acclaim but also the charity work and donations he did. I personally believe Elvis, who loved his harleys, and loved helping people, would be proud to know that bikes commemorating HIM are helping people who are on dialysis or insulin dependant. Funny to see a lame ass LIVING man talk shit about about a dead legend.
