Katelynn Stinnett National Memorial Ride

Katelynn Stinnett was just two years old when she was brutally assaulted by her father’s roommate. She died of her injuries on December 3rd, 2008. Please help us honor her memory as well as all victims of child abuse, exploitation, abduction and murder, and to prevent these horrific crimes from continuing.

The goal of this event is to have memorial rides in all 50 states on June 13th 2009, greatly raising awareness throughout the entire country. Pledge forms have been created for the Daytona Group participants (see below) to gather donations from everyone they know. Proceeds to benefit BACA of Florida. We are honored to have the Jacksonville Seven Bridges Chapter of BACA joining us that day. Various rides and events are being organized for the state, so please attend all you can in your area.

The Daytona Group Event will be held at:

DESTINATION DAYTONA FROM 12 NOON TO 6PM

Destination Daytona has generously offered their venue at no cost to us. This will allow us to donate ALL money collected! We will be raising funds by pledge/donation sheets (posted below with printing instructions), raffle tickets for great prizes, a 50/50 drawing, and the sale of exclusive tee shirts, tanks, and patches commemorating the event. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the various restaurants, and there will be live music by Southbound and Rockintoxication, both bands donating their time!

All participants who hand in donation sheets will receive goodie bags that include a child abuse awareness pin, coupons (including discounted bike detailing for a later date, and a great pizza lunch deal for the day of the event), and other surprises. In addition, many of the businesses at Destination have offered prizes for the raffle. We would appreciate you thanking these giving folks by patronizing their shops during the event or sometime down the road. If you want to come in on Friday, or if you can’t pass up those Sunday morning bloody marys at Saints & Sinners, the Destination Daytona Hotel & Suites will be offering a special group discount for the weekend. There is also inexpensive camping available at Thunder Gulch just down the road.

NOTE: IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE A SHIRT OR PATCH, PLEASE ATTEND THE EVENT OR ASK SOMEONE WHO IS ATTENDING TO BUY IT FOR YOU WHILE THEY ARE THERE. WE ARE UNABLE TO TAKE ADVANCE ORDERS DUE TO LIMITED QUANTITIES.
